Well, I'm preparing myself for a sleepless night. Tammy has a runny nose, can't breathe through it, and starts crying every few minutes. Half asleep she sits up, even stands up. Sometimes I can stroke her head after putting her back down, but most of the time I have to pick her up and hold her for a while before putting her back down, and starting all over again a few minutes later. It's 1 am and this has been going on for hours. I believe she got it from Emmy, and that it's the reason it's been hard with Emmy at night, especially last night, though it wasn't this bad. His nose was pretty runny today, and I cleaned it a lot. As for Tammy, I've put some rub with essential oils on her a few minutes ago, so I hope that will help her breathe. Maybe I will be getting some sleep after all.

The nights have become very busy again anyway, like in the early days. Last night I fed all three between 3 and 4 am, one after another. And I had fed all three BEFORE midnight as well! Tonight I've fed Tammy and Sammy before midnight, and had to comfort Emmy early in the evening, but he finally fell asleep.

Today it was time for another physiotherapy session for Sammy - the first in over two weeks. He did really well. He was rolling today, from his back to his belly to his back etc. She'd roll him on his belly, and he'd roll on his back. He's been able to do that for a long time, but she still needs to help him a little for him to turn from his back to his belly.

Emmy had fallen asleep in the stroller on the way there - he really needed it - and stayed asleep for most of the session. Tammy let lose, taking advantage of all the those there. Randy kept reigning her in, trying to keep her away from Sammy. At the end, she went for it, went to the therapist, stood up, like she was saying, "What about me? Why do you give Sammy all your attention?"

The therapist put Sammy on this ledge in front of the mirror, and he actually fell asleep there! He had worked hard for nearly an hour, and he slept well in the stroller on the way home. So did Tammy after powering herself out the whole time.

Back home it was time for their second meal, while us adults had not eaten lunch yet. We fed them and ate ourselves. Then Randy said good-bye again and went to the apartment to work. I don't even know what he did, as we didn't get to talk after he returned home. He can't whisper, but they wake up if we talk, and they were all asleep by the time he got home.

So I was once again alone with them for hours. When Randy left, Tammy was crying hard, even hysterically. She was tired, but now I wonder if it was already this cold coming on. I lay down with her and finally got her to calm down, close her eyes, and fall asleep, when Sammy needed me. I gently tried to slide her onto the mattress without waking her up. It looked like I had succeeded. After I picked up Sammy I looked, and her head was up. That was a short nap! But to my surprise she was fine after that, and played happily in the bed, together with Emmy. It was Sammy who was cranky and needed my attention.

While I was feeding him, the other two started to get fussy as well. I put Sammy to bed, and went on to feeding Emmy, and put him to bed. When I picked up Tammy, I could tell how very tired she was by now. In fact, when I'd try to put a spoonfull of food into her mouth, she'd cry. She would not eat. I had no choice but to change her and put her down to sleep. It actually didn't take her long to finally fall asleep. So for a little while it was all quiet, before Emmy started first, and then it all started with Tammy, as described above. I'm praying Sammy gets spared this runny nose.
