Emmy is the center of attention today once again. He finally did it! He stood up on his own in their day bed, exactly two weeks after he stood up at the pediatrician's office for the first time. And, I discovered that he has a second tooth that has broken through, right next to the first. The others don't have any yet! Maybe that explains how hard it's been with him, especially at night, and tonight it was worse again. I put dental cream on him more than once today.

Last night was already tough, and he wakes up in the middle of the night too, when he's not hungry, and just needs comforting. I was really tired this morning and had a hard time getting up. I've been going to bed later again, and I can feel it.

Randy left me after lunch again to go to the new apartment to work. That meant I was all alone with three babies for the rest of the day. At some point I felt like a Supermom today, and then as a failing Supermom. I took care of three babies, fed them 6 meal, changed lots of diapers, watched them, separated them, comforted them, bathed them, and weighed them. I also rearranged the living room - now that we have more space, to use it better - wrote the monthly thank-you letter, translated it, wrote receipts, and cooked of course.

But let's go back to the start. Tammy was really tired when lunch time came around; I decided to feed her and let her sleep after. I had never seen her fall asleep while eating solid food! She fell asleep right away when I put her down.

While she was sleeping, the boys were awake and fussy. I used the swing quite a bit today, as that sometimes keeps them happy for a while. Then when Tammy woke up, it was the boys who finally fell asleep, and she was happy to play by herself. It was Tammy who woke Sammy up when she was kneeling on his back!!! Another time Emmy was on top of Tammy who was on top of Sammy. I've got a few great videos I'm uploading.

The evening turned out to be tough from the start. What can you do when you have three crying babies? You don't have a choice but to choose who to help first. Sammy goes to bed first, so I fed him first, even though Tammy was so hungry and tired, and Emmy was crying too. After his meal, I bathed and weighed him (quickly), then put him to bed.

Tammy was definitely next, as it had been longest for her since the last meal. However, she was so tired, it was hard to get any food into her. She was so tired, she did not enjoy her bath at all and was crying most of them until I put her in bed. Since I had to pick up crying Emmy right away, I never even got to stroke her hair, and she fell asleep all by herself.

Emmy was last, and so I was not as rushed. He wasn't as tired either. He enjoyed his bath, and was fine when I put him to bed. But that was only the beginning of the evening. Randy called me one time, and he woke up crying. It took me an hour to get him to fall back asleep, and he's been awake numerous times since. One time I rocked him and put him down. Another time I fed him. Another time he was wide awake, but finally accepted being put back to bed. I sure hope it doesn't continue like this all night! If this is what it's like when they have teeth coming, I dread when the other two are getting their teeth! And even Tammy woke up at 8:15 pm already, which she NEVER does, because she was hungry, after having so little for dinner! Needless to say, I have not been able to get much done tonight, and expect to be going to bed late again.

Tammy now weighs 7.67 kilos (+230 since 2 weeks ago), Emmy 7.12 (+190) and Sammy only 6.30. He actually lost 90 grams in the last two weeks!!! That's a little concerning!
