HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Last night around 10 pm Emmy woke up, cried, didn't want to drink, but tonight it was much worse. He screamed and screamed, holding him would not comfort him, and milk he didn't want. I went into the bathroom with him, where he'd at least disturb the others, and just held and rocked him, and sang and prayed for him. He cried for about 20 minutes before he started to calm down. I gave him dental cream, and he passed some gas, so I'm not sure if his belly or his teeth were hurting. He finally fell asleep in my arms and I laid him back in bed.
And today he actually hit a milestone; sometimes they are also more restless during times of growth spurts. I looked and there he was sitting in bed without holding on to anything! I took a picture, and then started a video that I have already uploaded.
And it amazed me how Tammy could contine sleeping when Emmy climbed on top of her and put his hand in her face. In return he continued sleeping when she put his foot in his face. It's better they go after each other than Sammy; we still have to pull them off Sammy all the time.
In the afternoon we left the house to go to church. Tammy and Sammy had already had their nap, and Emmy slept on the way there. Tonight was tougher because their friend wasn't there, and nobody came to help us with them, so we had to take care of them by ourselves the whole time. Tammy spent the most time on the floor, and pulled herself up on a chair. I held Emmy for a while, and then Tammy, while Randy took care of Sammy who was a little cranky. He fell asleep toward the end of the service. Tammy slept in the stroller on the way home, while Emmy was tired but stayed awake.
It was already 8 pm when we got home, which is a time when they're usually asleep. Sammy had had a lot of milk, but we didn't dare exclude him from the meal, like we had done once and he had complained. So we fed the boys, and I put them to bed. Then I decided to wake up the girl or she'd just keep sleeping in the stroller. At first she ate in her sleep, and once she woke up a little, she was cranky and wanted no more. She was unhappy when I changed her too, but thankfully fell asleep in bed fast.
