This morning we went baby swimming, as we do every Friday. I had Sammy today, Randy Tammy, and my Mom Emmy. We had a great time again. Sammy was a little insecure at times, but really enjoyed it at other times. Emmy loves the water the most, laughs, splashes, and makes movements that ressemble swimming.

Before we left there, we stopped at the aquarium and so they got to see live fish for the very first time. Of course they tried to grab them.

All three fell asleep in the stroller on the way home. Back home we fed them their first meal, which is lunch, and it's always later than usual after swimming.

Today we all stayed home, though Randy went shopping twice. Emmy continued trying to stand up, but never got there, even though he had stood up once yesterday morning, and before that 11 days earlier. He does sit a lot holding on to the bars.

They were all pretty tired at times, and just want to be picked up and held when they are. If you did all the time, you'd constantly have a baby on your arm! They always protest when you put them down, but many times they are okay after a little cry, and once they see their siblings or a toy they are interested in.

Emmy constantly climbs on top of his brother, primarily, like Tammy did just before she was able to sit up by herself. She still does at times. But Emmy is rough, and one time Randy said he was actually choking Sammy. So Randy pulls him off a lot, but he thinks it's a game, laughs, and goes straight back on top of his brother. Today Randy put Sammy on top of Emmy to show him what it's like. It backfired as Emmy though it was hilarious, and Sammy didn't like it for long.

Tonight both boys fell asleep right away like they do now, and it was the first time I walked away from Tammy before she slept, and she let me! Praise God! It makes life so much easier! This is the 6th day they have all fallen asleep in their beds. It's gonna be interested to see how it goes in the new apartment in a few weeks, when their beds are all next to each other and on the top floor, while we will be on the bottom floor until going to bed.

And in closing a funny story from Randy's shopping trips. Not long ago, he not only bought groceries but a big bag of diapers at a grocery store. Once home, he realized the diapers had not made it. When I looked on the receipt, there were no diapers.

Tonight he went back to that same store. The diapers were the last item on the conveyor belt. The cashier gave him the total amount, but without the diapers. She thought they belonged to the next customer! How can an old guy like that buy diapers?!? Now we know why he came empty-handed last time, and he was able to let her know tonight that in fact, they were his purchase.
