Sammy lasted pretty long last night; maybe he'll sleep through soon. Emmy eats before midnight, and then makes it through the rest of the night.

This morning I ended up with all three in bed with me again. Our mattress is on the floor right now, as the bed is already in the new apartment, and it has slid away from the wall so that there is a gap. Today is Emmy-in-the-gap Day! He kept going in there - and found a gap at the apartment in the afternoon as well that he went into!

After lunch we all left the house again and took the subway to our future home where we met my good friend and her little boy. It was her first time seeing the apartment. We had so much fun, the two of us, with the four babies. We were all on the mattress, where they have toys and can move around freely. It was funny to watch Tammy "intruding" into my friend's space when she was reading to her son, and trying to be a part, and even take away the book. Emmy was more interested in pushing the boundaries and exploring what was beyond. Sammy was perfectly happy as well, playing with toys, though his brother likes taking them away from him.

Randy started putting our wardrobe together again, after it had crashed last time, and fixing the damage that was done. My friend had to leave, and so I was on my own the with three babies. They were all tired. Emmy gets really cranky and cries and wants to be held. Sammy fell asleep quickly, and I took Emmy into my arms and helped him fall asleep, trying to keep Tammy at bay. After he was asleep, I tried to do the same with Tammy, but she was too interested in exploring. Today she pulled herself up holding onto the little shelf we put there. She only slept in the stroller on the way home.

At 5 pm we decided it was time to leave. Emmy was still asleep and I had to wake him up. The subway is pretty full at that time of day. Tammy is always staring at the people around her, and trying to get a reaction from them. It was funny, because I thought she was staring at these two guys who kept looking at her, but when I tried to give her milk, I discovered that she had fallen asleep with her head on the stroller bar, looking their direction (away from me).

Back home, I made their dinner right away, but none of them ate very much. They'd all had some milk. Emmy fell asleep right away, and Tammy was gone fast too. Normally Sammy goes to bed first, but tonight he was last. His siblings were already asleep. The reason was that Randy had given up trying to feed him, and so I did, after having put the other two to bed. And then my big boy (Randy) also fell asleep. And that's how we eat late every night, and how I can barely get anything done any more and have been going to bed later again.
