HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
Wow! Already 10 months old! That is their actual age; their biological age is 7.5 months. And the day today needs to be named "Tamara Standing Day". She was standing up all day long! A few days ago I saw her stand, but not stand up. Today we saw her stand up constantly. Every time Randy was feeding one of the boys (6 times total), she would stand up and watch. After all, you can see better looking over the railing than through! After a while of standing, she would get tired and start to whine. I guess she wanted help sitting back down, and many times we did help her. I did see her lower herself as well. This one picture is so funny, as it looks like Emmy is helping her, holding her up. I've got a few videos of her standing up as well, and uploaded the best.
Thank God, after three nights of needing milk at night, Tammy slept through again last night! One of these days the boys will too. Emmy is a few weeks behind Tammy, in development, and Sammy is behind a lot more.
Today I've been really tired as I did a lot of helping in the morning, and was up a lot more. We had to do all the feeding at lunchtime quickly again, second day in a row, as we already had to leave the house at 12:15 to go to Sammy's physiotherapy session. Today with all three, which is always a lot of fun!
Sammy had a GREAT day at physiotherapy, one of his best yet, if not the best. He never got so cranky you could not work with him anymore. He actually worked the whole hour - even though he had not had his nap after eating! And in the end he was still smiling! I was so proud of him.
And the therapist said that he's made a lot of progress this week. He's now shifting his weight to the side on his belly to have freedom to move his arm, and he's trying really hard to crawl. She was working again with him to help him learn to turn from his back to his belly.
The other two also had the greatest time. Emmy is our shy one and needed a little time to warm up. Tammy got right into it like a whirlwind! Crawling around, crawling up, sitting up, standing up, grabbing all the toys, from Emmy, from Sammy... No wonder she was so tired after that she slept in the stroller on the way home (all three did)! And there were some really funny moments with her. I uploaded two funny videos. In the first she's taking Sammy's stuff away that the therapist is using with him, and she's standing up. In the second, she's climbing up stairs and.... you've just gotta watch it!
Sammy woke up before we got home and was the first one to get his middle meal. The other two slept a little longer. Later in the afternoon I lay down with Emmy who was so tired and just crying because he could not fall asleep. Tammy was too, but she never slept. Which was an advantag when it was bedtime, as she fell asleep right away, no crying, no rocking.
Emmy now always falls asleep, but wakes up a little later and needs rocking then. And it's the second day in a row that he already needed milk around 9:30 pm. Randy rocked him again. I think it's a blessing for the babies to fall asleep on their Daddy's chest, hearing his heart beat, and Randy gets his much-needed nap too.
