I'm wondering when/if I'll ever NOT be tired when getting up in the morning. I'm not a morning person and would much rather get up slowly than have to jump out of bed and go full-steam busy, getting their food ready and feed them. I don't even take my medication every day any more.

Today we had our friend Barbara arrive to stay until Friday to help. She already spent two nights here right after we first moved in, and so it's now the second time we have someone staying with us. I got up when she came and got their food ready. She then helped us feed them, while I started cooking for the three of us.

I still had to watch the clock closely as we needed to leave at 1 pm. We just about had enough time to eat and get ready. Barely arrived, she already got to have some time to herself! We loaded up the babies and left to go to our old apartment for the very last time. We FINALLY got to give back our old apartment! I hadn't even been there since the move, only Randy has been back to make sure everything is in perfect order and clean.

We got there first and had a few minutes to ourselves to look around before the people from the house management and the owner arrived. We had never met the owner before, but I had been in email contact with him, and he was excited to finally meet the babies. Unfortunately he doesn't really have much to say in what all they are going to charge us for what they think is not in perfect order. We already knew we'd be charged 800€ for the lost key, as they are going to change the lock. They took pictures of everything, tested everything, and made a list of everything, so they could charge for repairs and it seems also repainting the apartment. I had given them a deposit of 3000€ when I moved in 7 years ago, and would definitely like to get at least some of that money back. We'll know in a few weeks.

Tammy was in a really good mood. Emmy was asleep when we got there and still slept for a while in the stroller. I got Sammy out of the stroller and held him the whole time while there. Randy let Tammy - and then Emmy - crawl around on the floor, and she made friends with everyone with her big smile.

After an hour or so we were done and said our final good-byes. I fell in love with that apartment when I first saw it and always loved living there. Now it's history.

We went back home, where our friend received us. I was so tired and lay down for a few minutes, just to rest, but didn't have too much time. It was nice to have someone with the little ones and get a short break.

Dinner time was approaching, and I made their food. We all fed a baby each. Then I filled the bathtub up as it was Monday and time for a bath and to be weighed. The last few times the bathtub had been a problem. One time I put them in and turned the water on, andt hey freaked out. Then I put them in the dry bathtub, and especially Emmy freaked out. I hadn't put them in a bathtub with water and no running water in a while.

I bathed Sammy first, who has been screaming the last few times when bathing, including today. I don't know why. He was really tired, and fell right asleep when I put him to bed.

Then I put Tammy in, rather than putting them both in at the same time. She was perfectly happy. I had not only added their ducks, but also the new bath toys they received for their birthday. Then Emmy came. He was a little unsure but not screaming. He did get up and tried to hold on to me at first, but then he was fine and they were both playing. Thank God!

After a while I got Tammy out first, and she never likes lying down on the changing table. I put her to bed, and then got Emmy out and put him to bed. Tammy was really tired and fell asleep fast. It's amazing that she is the one who has been falling asleep fast recently, when she was always the one taking forever. Now it's Emmy who needs the longest. Actually, while Tammy needs me to be there when she falls asleep, Emmy needs me to leave. When I'm there, he just gets up and plays. When I walk away, he cries, but then he lies down and goes to sleep. I do have to come back briefly sometimes and stroke his head until he actually falls asleep. So it did not take too long, but he is also the one who wakes up frequently, and one of those times he also woke his brother up. They have both had milk tonight, but not Tammy yet.

After they were asleep, it was time for us adults to eat - and work. Randy did a few more little things in the house, while I did some work at the computer, besides kitchen cleanup. After Randy and our friend went to bed, I was on my own at the desk. This week would probably be a good opportunity for me to start going to bed earlier.

By the way, we've been applying the essential oil mixture on Tammy's bump, and it's making them disappear fast. Praise God! She has 3 right now, and we're still hoping it's not chickenpox.

Tammy now weighs 8.29 kilos (+260 grams), Emmy 7.70 (+70) and Sammy 6.62 (+20).
