HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
I fed two babies at 4 am, and Randy changed their diapers, as it was the beginning of his shift. They still get up between 7 and 7:30 am usually, when they all get their milk. My alarm went off at 8:50, and I mixed their cereal with milk up, and then we fed them, before putting them to bed for their morning nap. The boys slept in their beds, and I lay down with Tammy. She now falls asleep faster; I guess our new schedule is becoming routine now. Emmy only slept for a short time, for some reason, and Randy played with him downstairs. Tammy on the other hand slept for 90 minutes today, until 11 am. That left no more time for myself to go back to bed until 11:30, which is their lunch time.
We fed them their lunch, and then ate ourselves, with time being already tight, as we had to leave the house at 1 pm. We got them all dressed, loaded them into the strollers, and off we went.
We have to take 3 different subways to get to the hospital, which is a little ardous and takes time. Emmy was so tired, but did not fall asleep. Sammy was too, but none of them slept.
We got to the hospital a little early and had to wait outside the physiotherapist's door. Emmy and Tammy were out, walking around, and playing with the toys hung up on the walls for them. Once the therapist showed up, they both walked into her room today (holding my hands).
Sammy did great in his physiotherapy session today. He crawled, and I even got to film him turning over all by himself. The therapist said that he might soon find out that he can move around faster by rolling instead of crawling, and might start to roll around. We'll see. She made him crawl up stairs, and crawl back down today.
Emmy and Tammy enjoyed all the toys, and there's always new ones. Today there was a blow-up horse. Emmy didn't like it much, but Tammy did. It bounced!
Just before the hour was up, Sammy had had enough of all the work. He had done great anyway, considering he hadn't slept, as the session was during the time they usually have their afternoon nap. Even more amazingly, he did not sleep in the stroller on the way home, nor did Tammy. Only Emmy finally caught up on sleeping. The others waited till bedtime.
We took a little detour home to stop at a bank, and so it was just after 4 pm before we finally made it back home. We changed them, and then Randy went downstairs with them, while I got their dinner ready, which takes some time. At 5 pm they came back up to eat at the dining room table. It was the first time we had the new light up, and it was sure bright! I'll have to take a picture some time.
Emmy did not eat much again; he just wants out of the high chair and roam around. Tammy ate everything, but once Emmy is out, she wants out too.
Since Randy had put the light up last night which meant no electricity, they didn't get bathed then, so we did it tonight. I bathed Sammy first, and he finally stopped crying. We've been swimming since the last bath! While I prepared him for bed, Randy had Alexa play "Splish Splash, I'm taking a bath" and danced with Tammy and Emmy in the kitchen. It was so cute!
I put Sammy to bed, and then the other two went into the bathtub to play, and they always have so much fun! So much so that they cry when I take them out. Emmy came out first and went to bed with a bottle of milk, and then Tammy. They were tired, and it didn't take very long until they were asleep. Thank God bedtime is so much easier now than it used to be! I feel like the nights are too.
It was time to get our food ready and eat, and then we cleaned up a little, as we have a reporter coming in the morning. I got the living room ready, and even put three of our big pictures up, just sitting there, as they haven't been hung on the wall yet.
And now it's nearly 1 am and I need to go to bed, even though my long to-do list is not getting any shorter, as I have just no time to do anything, and tomorrow is another busy day. Please pray I get some things done!
Today Tammy weighed 8.7 kilos (+0.1), Emmy 7.9 (+0.1) and Sammy 6.7 (+0.2).
