I made sure they were all fed before going to bed at 1:30 am or so. And again they slept until 7 am. I held Sammy to keep him happy, while Randy got the milk ready. He handed the bottles to Emmy and Tammy and then fed Sammy.

My alarm was set for 8:50 again to make their milk cereal and feed them at 9 am. However, I did not hear the alarm and woke up at 10 am, hearing Sammy cry. Maybe I should change my alarm sound to a recording of them crying! I was annoyed with myself and Randy not waking me up. He had given them milk, but nobody had had their nap yet, so I put them to bed. I ended up taking Tammy to bed with me again to help her sleep, and all three had a good nap.

Once awake, it was time to get lunch ready and feed them. Then I cooked for us adults and we ate. Tammy was looking at me all whiny, while I was eating as fast as possible so I could join them in their play area. We played for a while - especially throwing balls - and just after 2 pm we fed them their second meal. Downstairs again, as Randy was still finishing the wardrobe, and the dining table was not accessible. They would get up, move, play, everything, so it was hard to feed them, but in the end they had eaten everything.

Then it was time for the afternoon nap. The boys fell asleep right away, but not Tammy. I didn't want to make it a habit to lie down with her and was hoping she'd fall asleep on her own, but she didn't. At least she wasn't crying for the longest time. After half an hour she was getting more unhappy, and I finally picked her up, but not to lie down. I took her into the kitchen with me where she "helped" me load the dishwasher. We were still up there working, when the door bell rang, and the Mobile Therapy Support lady. Emmy was awake then, and so was Sammy, and so everyone went downstairs. I stayed for a while, as Sammy needs a little bit before he's fine with her, especiallly after just waking up. Then Randy took my place, while I did some work. She always stays for 90 minutes to play with him. Towards the end, Randy left to do something and I returned, but Sammy already had enough. She said he wasn't quite himself today, and when we measured his temperature, it was a little elevated. He's also had diarrhea for the past two days. The lady left, and I was holding Sammy, while the other two were happily playing outside the play area; they had already been "in freedom" for a while, enjoying it very much.

Randy then took my place so I could go get their dinner ready. It's unbelievable how long it takes to cut food for three babies into small pieces! Tonight we had bread with cream cheese, chicken, cantaloupe and banana. I cut more fruit as they love it. They don't care for the bread that much, but they seemed to like it better today, today being the third day they've eaten it. They ate ALL the chicken and fruit, and Emmy even was okay staying in the high chair for a long time, though not until the very end. Sammy is still the most unsure about this finger food eating, but loves getting his hands into it, which the others don't care to do.

I changed them, put their pj's on, and we all gathered on our bed to read a Bible story together. Thankfully it was short, as Emmy preferred moving and it was hard to restrain him.

Then we made them milk, prayed for them, and put them in their beds with their bottles, and I sat down with Sammy to feed him. Emmy fell asleep after drinking most of the bottle, and Sammy fell asleep right away as well. Tammy needed a little more time, and some dental cream. After she was finally asleep, I left to prepare dinner.

It wasn't long before Sammy woke back up. He drank some more milk, and Randy ended up rocking him and then put him to bed, but he was still not happy. I came back and picked him up; he was only happy lying on my shoulder. As I wasn't done eating but Randy was, he took Sammy, and after a while they were both sleeping. When I came back, I put Sammy to bed, and Randy was able to get up and do some other things.

We've prayed for Sammy's healing, please pray with us. I hope he can sleep well now, rather than this being a difficult night.
