I have been doing so well in terms of going to bed earlier, but not so tonight. It's 3 am as I start writing this.

I also wanted to tell you that the chest pain is gone now; today it was day 4 and I noticed at one point that it wasn't there any more. Praise God!

This morning they all woke up at 7 am. Randy then makes their milk, puts a bottle into Tammy's and Emmy's hands and sits down to feed Sammy. I went to the bathroom and noticed that Tammy had dropped her bottle and was crying, so I went over to her and put it back into her mouth. That was a big mistake, as it started everything going downhill. I did my best to help, and went downstairs when Emmy was there alone and crying, and only went back to bed once all three plus Randy were there. Rough morning.

Our lunch routine was the same as always. In the afternoon I was making final preparations for church, as well as playing with the kids. That's when this cute picture was taken while Randy was in there with them, of Sammy lying on a stuffed dog and smiling at me.

We fed them their middle meal early today as we already had to leave the house at 2:30 am to get to church in time, and catch the train that is only running every 30 minutes. It was a wild rush, but we made it. We got to church really early, and I set up our Mali table while Randy stayed with the triplets. He sat down on the floor with all three of them, and others came to say hello or join them.

And then the service started, and today we stayed for both services, the 4 pm and the 6 pm, as I was giving an update on Mali both times and they were taking a special offering to help us pay for the expenses of the beginning of the school year. That meant a LONG time at church for our little ones.

All three of them slept at one point during that time. Emmy was our explorer again, going as far away as possible, and making friends with everyone. Tammy stayed closer but enchanted every person's hear that looked at her smile. Both Emmy and Tammy had people come spend time with them, which we were grateful for. Sammy stayed with Daddy most of the time. While I was giving my update, Randy had to take care of them by himself (plus whoever was around to help), and at the end of the two services, I also left him to go to our Mali table. After the second service Tammy joined me to help me - her first time helping me at the table. 🙂

All the Corona measurements have changed how things are done, including the position of the table and how many actually stopped there. We hadn't really needed to stay all the way to the end in that respect. It was definitely time to go home.

Tammy and Sammy were wide awake, but Emmy was tired, and fell asleep on the way home. We took a different way home, as we did not want to wait for a train or take the one with the steps. I ended up taking a tired Tammy out of the stroller in the subway, as she was not happy. It's really tough with the face shield, though, even having a baby on your arm. I ended up carrying her all the way home from the subway station, and noticed how heavy nearly 9 kilos on your arm are after a while.

It was 9:15 pm when we got home, long after their normal bed time. I put Sammy to bed first, then Tammy, then got sleeping Emmy out of the stroller who was not at all happy and put him to bed. It took a little longer than usual for them to sleep, but nothing like in the past. Then we finally got to eat ourselves.

And as the evening started late, I'm going to bed extra late again tonight, but I'm not planning on making it a habit again.
