This morning all three were awake and so I helped Randy. He was taking making milk (I think), or taking care of Sammy, so I picked up the other two to make them happy, but taking them to bed with me was not working. They LOVE being in our bed and go right to our little shelf on the wall that is our side table, exploring everything on it. What they love most is the lamp that turns on and changes intensity by simple touch. However, two active babies were too much for me, as I was trying to keep them from grabbing stuff they shouldn't and going off the edge of the bed. I returned them to their beds, and with milk they both were happy again, and I was able to go to bed. It's all a blurr, though.

I knew I had to get up at 9:30 today, when Randy had to leave to take Sammy to physiotherapy. I had succeeded in going to bed early last night, around 1 am, but of course I had to get up to feed them at some point, before the situation above. To our surprise, our friend Anna arrived at 9:30 (instead of in the afternoon). When she had read my message in the morning, that Randy was leaving the house early, she decided to come then to help. What a blessing! At first I just went back to sleep. At 10 am I heard Tammy cry, and so I went downstairs, got her, and took her to bed with me to help her sleep. At first she was just exploring, but then I was finally able to get her to stay down and she slept for over an hour. Emmy also slept downstairs with Anna.

After she woke up, I got their food ready, and that's when Randy returned home with Sammy, a little earlier than usual. Sammy had had enough before the end of the session. So we were all feeding babies, and then Anna left to go home, but she came back at 3:30 pm for another two hours, together with her daughter.

Randy made his famous omelets for us for lunch today, while I was with all three in their play area. Emmy and Tammy were tired, even though they had slept in the morning, but I could never get them to sleep, as one would always get the other back up before they were asleep.

When Anna and her daughter arrived, they took them outside our door for a little bit, but Sammy did not want to be with them, but rather with me. So I held him for a while, while working, and he finally let me put him in the swing for a while. Then the other two came back in, and they're always the happiest when roaming around free inside, and that was the right strategy with them being so tired. I went upstairs to make their food, and they had both come to the gate and were looking up at me.

And our friends did a lot of walking with them, and I filmed them twice and am uploading them. It won't be long before they can walk by themselves!

We then fed all three of them, and Randy returned from the store while we were doing so. We then got them ready for bed, and they all fell asleep pretty fast. Emmy needed his milk first, though, even though he was so tired, and refused to hold the bottle himself. Instead I had to hold it the whole time while he was lying on his back in his bed. As he was approaching the end, his eyes were falling shut more and more.

Once they were asleep, it was time for us to prepare and eat our dinner, and then get to work. We have a busy afternoon/evening tomorrow, and I'm still preparing for it. Randy went to bed early, and I'm hoping it won't be too late either, but that I can continue going to bed earlier (like at 1 am).
