HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
This morning I slept better than usual, with less interruptions, but I did get up earlier than usual, as I heard the babies cry and went downstairs to help. At the end of the day, of another day at home similar to others, it's sometimes hard to remember details.
I fed Tammy and Emmy at the same time, in the play area, while Randy fed Sammy. Emmy wasn't really hungry, as he'd had some milk not long before, and so I stopped trying to feed him and Randy fed him an hour later. After Tammy was done, I went upstairs to cook, while Randy stayed with them. He then ate first, and after he was done and rejoined them, I was able to eat. Then I joined the babies in the play area again and stayed with them.
Tammy and Emmy can stand longer and longer without holding on to anything now. Today Emmy took one step before losing balance. It won't be long now! And it's actually harder walking on the softer mattress than on the hard floor outside. They also love clapping their hands now and do it frequently throughout the day.
At 2 pm the Mobile Therapy Support lady came after a long break to play with Sammy for 90 minutes. She reminded us right away that we also have to wear masks. In our own home! Tammy kept pulling on it and actually ripped the cord out!
The lady really just played with Sammy for the whole time, and whenever one of the others came up to her, she also interacted with them. I'm not sure how much of a difference it is really gonna make. Thankfully Sammy had just woken up from a long nap, so he was not tired and in a good mood.
The other two never slept in the afternoon, though they were tired, and I tried several times to make them lie down, but something always got their attention and they got back up. I guess I would have had to grab one and go away with him/her so they'd sleep.
Right when the lady left, our friend Erich arrived, who's come before to help Randy. He came so they could continue putting the mirror foils on our full-length windows downstairs, so passerbys can't look inside (as easy). So I stayed with the little ones.
Emmy and Tammy were very interested in what Daddy and the man were doing, and watched them much of the time. They had done two windows last time, did two today, and have two more left for another time.
Though they were tired, they were never really cranky, as they were too interested in watching them work. At 5 pm they took a break, and Erich helped us feed them, feeding Tammy, who is the easiest to feed. I held Emmy, who now won't even let me sit down with him. I stood while feeding him, and walked over to the others, as he always needs to have something to look at.
I then took Emmy upstairs first and put him to bed. He was very tired and fell asleep right away. Then I got Sammy, and then Tammy. Sammy had a harder time falling asleep, even though his nap had been before 2 pm. Tammy also fell asleep fast.
After they had finished the second window, Erich said his good-byes. We got to cook and eat, and then it's work time. Randy went to bed pretty early tonight, as he's taking Sammy to physiotherapy in the morning, which means I should go to bed early too, as I'll have to be up as well to be with the other two. 2 am has been my bed time recently, and I don't seem to be able to make it any earlier.
