HEALING 2 THE NATIONS INTERNATIONAL
Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance. (Ps 2:8)
My plan to go to bed at 1 am for the second day in a row did not quite work out. It was nearly 2 am, and again I had to get up a few more times during the night, before Randy's shift started. 2 am is still better than 4 am, and I felt the difference. I'll get there eventually. I'd better as swimming starts soon again, and it will be in the morning again.
My sleep was interrupted a few times in the morning, and so I ended up not hearing my alarm at 11:30. I got up at noon and immediately mixed their food up as they were hungry.
Emmy will NOT go into the high chair any more. I have to hold him in my arm, and even there he throws a tantrum. Once I put him on the floor - where he's the happiest boy, as he's free to go anywhere - Tammy then does not want to stay in the chair either. So I had to also put her on the floor, and off they went exploring. I followed them with their food, and actually got the rest of the food into them, but it was challenging, and not really the way I want to feed them all the time. They're so fast, you can't leave them out of their eyes; at least they stay together most of the time.
We all went back downstairs to their play area. We had no helpers coming today. First Randy stayed with them, so I could cook our lunch. We both ate at the same time, where they could see us, but they still weren't very happy. I then joined them, which is where I stayed most of the rest of the day.
Sammy had a tough day. In fact, all three seem to be teething. Tammy has even had red cheeks for the past 3 days. Sammy never slept in the afternoon. Tammy and Emmy were so tired, but I FINALLY got them to fall asleep on me. At least they slept a little bit.
After they woke up, it was time for their afternoon snack, and we decided to feed them right there and then. I've been telling you about the tantrums Emmy is throwing the past few nights, well today he also threw them during the day. He just lets himself fall backwards, head-down, and there is nothing that you can do to comfort him. I had to let him do his thing and just feed his sister. After he had calmed down, he ate normally. We need to pray for him!
They were doing better for the rest of the afternoon. Randy joined me as well, as Sammy was tired and not so happy. Emmy and Tammy both love playing ball, and so I played with them. At 5 pm we went upstairs to our dining room to eat dinner.
Again I had to hold Emmy, and Tammy never eats much at night. I had made only two portions tonight, and Tammy and Emmy ate half a portion together, and Sammy the other half, so a whole portion remained.
I got them cleaned up, changed, prayed over them and put them to bed. Sammy was tired and fell asleep fast. I gave Tammy and Emmy both a bottle of milk, and they drank it all. Emmy fell asleep fast after that, but tonight it was Tammy who needed considerable time. I gave her some gel for her teeth as well.
Once she was asleep, I finally was able to start working, and later cook and eat dinner and continue working. Randy put one light up today (just one more to go), and organized his permanent work shelf. I forgot to tell you that he was called yesterday to be informed that they have issued his permit to stay in Austria for another year. Praise God! It only took 2 months and lots of papers to hand in.
